Jan has been a Master/Teacher of the Usui Shiki Rhoyo School of Reiki and also an intuitive energy practitioner for the past 20 years. She has taught hundreds of students about many forms of enerywork including the three levels of Reiki.
Jan began her research into alternative and complementary medicines during her own cancer experience. It was during that time she began studying various types of healing energies as well as different types of therapies including Reiki, Intuitive Energy Work, Massage, Craniosacral, Reflexology, Acupuncture, and herbal medicines, just to name a few.
One of Jan’s specialties is creating and implementing special programs based on the needs of the students at the present moment and is working hand in hand through Sacred Wandering, with Ken Nelan, to help create and implement additional forms of Reiki Energy Healing.
For the past five years Jan was a dedicated Adjunct in the Therapeutic Massage program at Pima Community College Northwest campus. Though she may one day return to Pima, she is now teaching through Sacred Wandering.
Jan’s dream for those who come to Sacred Wandering is that they are able to find what it is they are looking for, that they are free to dream, free to explore themselves, and free to be what they've discovered in themselves.
Ken is a master of intuitive energy work who has studied under many masters for the past 20 years. He completed the Master and Teacher degree for
the Usui Shiki Rhoyo School of Reiki under Jan Soldon in 2001 and has studied several other forms of Reiki. Ken is also an experienced meditation
guide and retreat master and has prepared and presented religious and semi-religious retreats as well as non-religious retreats.
